Saudi Arabian Airlines and Kuwait based Alafco Aviation Lease and Finance Company announced their agreement for the sale and lease of 17 Boeing and Airbus aircraft to Saudi Arabian Airlines to be delivered during the period from 2009 until 2015.
The Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Alafco Aviation Lease and Finance Company Mr. Ahmad Abdullah Alzabin stated that the agreement includes the sale of 8 Boeing Dreamliner B787-9 aircraft with the total value of US$ 1.6 billion, at list prices, to be delivered between 2014 and 2015.
ALAFCO sells 5 A320-200 aircraft valued at US$ 325 million to Aref Holding Group
ALAFCO Aviation Lease and Finance Company and Aref Holding Group announced the signature of an agreement whereby ALAFCO will sell to Aref Logistics Company (Rubban) 5 new A320-200 aircraft. The transaction is valued at US$ 325 million at list prices. Rubban plans to operate these aircraft through its subsidiaries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Bangladesh.
40% increase of dividend per share
Ahmad Abdullah Alzabin, Chairman and CEO of ALAFCO Aviation Lease and Finance Company said that the Company has realized net profit to K.D. 4.271 millions in the first half of current fiscal year representing an increase of 40% over the same period last year. Earnings per share amounted to Fils 6.52 i.e. an increase of 40%.
The current year will witness regional expansion through many transactions Alzabin: ALAFCO first quarter profits increased 37.5% to K.D. 2.2 million
Ahmad Abdullah Alzabin, Chairman and CEO of ALAFCO Aviation Lease and Finance Company said the Company realized a net profit of K.D. 2.2 million in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, representing an increase of 37.5 percent over the same period last year. Earnings per share amounted to Fils 3.34, an increase of 37.4 percent.
ALAFCO Leases Six B787 Dreamliner Aircraft to Oman Air
ALAFCO Aviation Lease And Finance Company and Oman Air have signed a memorandum of understanding for the lease of six (6) Boeing B787 Dreamliner aircraft for a term of twelve years. Oman Air would be the first airline in the Gulf region to lease the Dreamliner aircraft which are expected to be delivered to the carrier in 2012, 2014 and 2015.
